Who is responsible

Dr Kothapalli Srinivasa Varma, 50-96-4, North Extension, Seethammadhara, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 530013 (“we”). For any privacy question or request: email mthindialab@gmail.com, or tap ‘Need help?’ on the order page and leave your number — we call you back.

What we collect

Only what you type in the order form, plus the payment status of your order:

• your name and mobile number;
• the delivery address: house and street, village or area, landmark, post office, district, state and PIN code;
• the number of copies, your order number, the amount, and the payment reference (for example the UPI transaction number or the payment gateway’s payment ID);
• if you ask us to call you back: the mobile number you give, what you write in “What do you need?”, the name typed in the order form (if any) and the order number it is about.

We never see or store your UPI PIN, card number or bank password. We do not ask for your email, Aadhaar, date of birth or location.

Why we use it

To post the book to you, to confirm your payment, to send you order and tracking messages on WhatsApp or SMS, to call you back when you ask us to, to handle complaints, replacements and refunds, and to keep the sales records the law requires. We use it for nothing else.

Who we share it with

• India Post: the recipient’s name, address and mobile number, printed on the parcel and given at booking.
• Cashfree Payments (our payment gateway): your name, mobile number, the amount and your order number, to process the payment. You enter your UPI, card or bank details on Cashfree’s secure page; we never see them.

Service providers that store or host data for us, and use it only on our behalf: Google (our private order sheet and email) and Cloudflare (this website’s hosting). We never sell your data, never share it for advertising, and never send political, promotional or bulk messages to your number.

On your phone

The order page saves your half-filled form and your current order number in your browser’s storage, so you do not lose them if the page reloads. This stays on your phone; tapping “Start a new order” or clearing the browser’s site data removes the order. There are no advertising or analytics cookies or trackers. When you type a PIN code, the page asks a public post-office directory (api.postalpincode.in) for the post offices of that PIN; only the PIN is sent.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for at least 1 year after the order, and longer where tax and accounting laws require. After that we delete them.

How we protect it

Orders are kept in a private Google account protected by 2-step verification. The order sheet is never shared by link, and this website never shows anyone else’s order details.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them (except records the law requires us to keep). You can also withdraw your consent; if your book has not been posted yet, we will then cancel the order and refund you. Contact us as above; we reply within 48 hours and act within one month.

Complaints

Please contact our Grievance Officer first (see About & Contact). If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Children

If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to place the order.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
